David Pell Yater of Westtown, a retired land surveyor, entered into rest on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021, at home. He was 79.
The son of George and Shirley Pell Yater, he was born on July 19, 1942, in Hyannis, Mass.
David was a U.S. Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War era.
He is survived by his wife Linda Miller Yater; daughter Carla Daniela Newsome; sister Marjorie Yater Gould; three nephews: Nathaniel and Dylan Gould, and Evan Miller; three nieces: Rachel, Bethany and Charity Miller and their mother Christianne Miller.
As per his wishes, there will be no services and cremation will be held privately.
