Daniel G. Owens

Daniel G. Owens of Greenwood Lake died on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2018, in Greenwood Lake. He was 29.
Son of Robert Owens and Mary Beth Hamilton Dawson, he was born on May 4, 1988, in Teaneck, N.J.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Beth Dawson, and his step-father, Robert Dawson, at home; father, Robert F. Owens and his companion, Joanie Schmick; son, Daniel J. Owens; companion, Kaitlyn Valenta; brothers, Robert Owens and his fiancé, Debra Srikishun, of Southfields, Brandon Owens of Greenwood Lake, and Kyle Dawson and his fiancé, Amanda Collazo, of Goshen; maternal grandfather, George Hamilton of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; paternal grandmother, Ann Owens of Freehold, N.J.; and his aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held Feb. 5 at the Strong Basile Funeral Home in Greenwood Lake. A funeral service was held Feb. 6 at the funeral home.
Burial was in Warwick Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to a fund being established for the benefit of his son Daniel J. Owens and sent to Robert and Mary Beth Dawson.
