    Cynthia L. De Groat of Warwick passed away on Friday, August 25, 2017, at Orange Regional Medical Center. She was 70 years old.
    Born Nov. 21, 1946, in Suffern, she was the daughter of James Oliver and Helen Mann Oliver.
    She was the widow of Vernon E. De Groat (2002).
    Before retiring, Cynthia was a warehouse picker with Amscan, Inc. in Chester.
    She is survived by her sons: Vernon L. De Groat and his wife Jody of Warwick and Skyler De Groat and his wife Chasity of Denmark, Tennessee; her daughter Billie Jo Oliver of Port Jervis; her grandchildren: Anthoney De Groat, Ashley De Groat and Alexander De Groat, all of Warwick; and Tristan De Groat and Jayden De Groat of Denmark, Tenn.; her brothers and sisters: Nyoka Emmanuel, James Oliver Jr., Greg Oliver, Cecilia Van Dunk, Roxanne Oliver, Marlene Kasses and Maria Oliver; many nieces and nephews.
    She was predeceased by brothers Jeff Oliver and Rodney Oliver, and sister Nila Oliver.
    Visitation was held Aug. 29 at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick, followed by funeral services. Interment was in Warwick Cemetery.
