Clara Jane Scank

Clara Jane Scank of the Village of Florida, and formerly of Curtain, W.V., entered into rest on Friday, Aug. 16, 2013, in Florida, N.Y. She was 77.

The daughter of Fred and Madrel Mathes Lipscomb, she was born March 3, 1936, in Curtain W.V.

Clara was a retired rehabilitation assistant at Letchworth Village in Thiells.

She was married to the late Abraham Scank.

She is survived by her son Mickey Coontz and his wife Karen; sister, Kay Cochran and her husband Harold; brother Paul Lipscomb and his wife Mary; grandsons Mickey W. Coontz and his wife Mariana, and Richard L. Coontz and his wife Katie; great grandsons Blake, Ashton and Mickey and great granddaughter Harper.

Burial will be held in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Cowen W.V.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.
