    Clara Grzyb of Florida, N.Y., entered into rest on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 97.
    The daughter of Anthony Andryshak and Sophie Buchalski, she was born on June 20, 1920, in Florida, N.Y.
    She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church and its Living Rosary Society and choir; St. Joseph’s Banquet Committee and Seward Senior Citizens. Mom also was an avid Bingo player.
    She is survived by her daughters Carol Dembeck of Florida, N.Y., and Patricia Nixdorf and her husband Lou of Florida, N.Y.; grandsons Walter Thompson and partner Kevin Flasch of Warwick and Brian Thompson and wife Alexis of Denver, Colorado; along with several nieces and nephews.
    She was predeceased by her husband Raymond “Jake” Grzyb; sister Helen Lis and her husband Ignatius and brother Edward Andryshak and his wife Marion.
    Visitation, which included a Rosary Service, was held Jan. 30 at T.S. Purta Funeral Home in the Village of Florida.
    A Funeral Mass will be held Jan. 31 at St. Joseph Church in the Village of Florida.
    Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery.
