Charles Francis Brack

    Charles Francis Brack of Warwick, and formerly of New City and Boston, Mass., passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at Schervier Pavilion, in Warwick. He was 81 years old.

    Born March 7, 1932, in Boston, he was the son of Charles and Elizabeth (Pennie) Brack.

    Known as “Gampa Charlie” to all, he served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion in New City.

    He was retired as an accounts manager with Bessemer Trust in Newark, N.J.

    He was a member of the Elks Club in Haverstraw and a member of Rockland Baptist Church in Pomona.

    He is survived by his children: Charles Brack and his wife Grace of Warwick, Donna Brack of Arizona, Kathleen Wolfe of Stony Point and Mary Weber and her husband Greg of Thiells Mt. Ivy; seven grandchildren: James and Michael Pecarro, Meghen Wolfe, Amanda Leigh Weber, Ryan, William and Mathew Brack; a brother, Albert Brack of Massachusetts; a sister, Marilyn Bertel of Nevada; and close friends Rich and MaryAnn Liquori of New City.

    Interment of cremated remains and graveside service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, at Orange County Veterans Cemetery in Goshen with military honors.
