Charles E. Hasbrouck

    Charles E. Hasbrouck passed away Monday, Aug. 5, 2013, at his home in Warwick. He was 79 years old.

    Born March 6, 1934, in Warwick, he was the son of Aaron and Rose (Sayer) Hasbrouck.

    He was married in 1957 to Marie (Rosario) Hasbrouck.

    Charles served with the Marines during the Cold War from 1955-1961. He retired in 2002 as a linesman with the Warwick Valley Telephone Company, where he worked for 42 years. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

    He is survived by his wife, Marie, of Warwick; his children: Kathryn Tiedemann and her husband Bill of Warwick, Kenneth Hasbrouck of Virginia, Debra Graham and her husband David of Milford, Pa., Cheryl Ziegler and her husband John of Warwick, Thomas Hasbrouck and his girlfriend Michelle Bedford of Warwick and Aaron Hasbrouck and his wife Kristen of Warwick; six grandchildren: Meghan Hasbrouck, Tim Hasbrouck, Katie Hasbrouck, John Ziegler, Rebecca Ziegler and Brynn Hasbrouck; and a great-grandson, Elijah Hasbrouck.

    The family will receive friends at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 17 Ryerson Ave., Warwick. A memorial talk will be held at 3:30 p.m.

    In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, Inc., 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.

    If flowers are being sent, they may be delivered to the 17 Ryerson Ave.
