Caroline Berlingieri
Caroline Berlingieri of Warwick, and formerly of West Milford, N.J. , passed away Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at St. Anthony Community Hospital. She was 70 years old.
Born May 12, 1942, in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of Emma (Masella) Peccia and John Peccia.
She was married to Domenico Berlingieri.
A homemaker, Caroline worked as a teacher’s aide with the West Milford School District and was the former owner of Mama Theresa in Warwick.
She was considered the world’s best baker.
She was a member of St. Stephen’s R.C. Church in Warwick.
She is survived by her husband Domenico of Warwick; daughter Teresa Berlingieri of Warwick; sons Dominic Berlingieri and his wife Wendy of Warwick and Joseph Berlingieri of Warwick; her mother Emma Peccia of Warwick; brother Anthony Peccia of Hewitt, N.J.; and four grandchildren: Carolina, Maria, Giovanni and Domenico.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Wednesday at St. Stephen’s R.C. Church, followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery.
