Caroline Berlingieri

Caroline Berlingieri of Warwick, formerly of West Milford, N.J., died on Jan. 5, 2013, at St. Anthony’s Community Hospital. She was 70.
Daughter of Emma (Masella) Peccia and the late John Peccia, she was born on May 12, 1942, in Brooklyn.
She was married to Domenico Berlingieri,
A homemaker, she worked as a teacher’s aide with the West Milford School District and was the former owner of Mama Theresa in Warwick. She was considered the world’s best baker. She was a member of St. Stephen’s Roman Catholic Church, Warwick.
Survivors include her husband, Domenico of Warwick; a daughter, Teresa Berlingieri of Warwick; two sons, Dominic Berlingieri and his wife, Wendy, of Warwick, and Joseph Berlingieri of Warwick; her mother, Emma Peccia of Warwick; a brother, Anthony Peccia of Hewitt, N.J;. four grandchildren, Carolina, Maria, Giovanni, and Domenico.
Visitation was scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 8, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Lazear-Smith and Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick, N.Y. A funeral mass was set for 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 9, at St. Stephens Roman Catholic Church, followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery.
