Carol Ann Linguanti

| 07 Nov 2017 | 11:48

Carol Ann Linguanti of Warwick passed away on Friday, Nov. 3, 2017. She passed away in her home, surrounded by loving family, friends, turtles, birds and her dog, Monty. The love that filled the house matched the love that Carol harbored and nurtured each day of her life.
She was born on Dec. 15, 1959, in Oceanside to parents Joan (Scott) and William Fletcher.
Carol will always be in the hearts and memories of the loved ones left without her: her husband of 35 years, Robert (Bob) Linguanti; her four sons, Jason, Derek (his wife, Danielle), Alec and Brad (his significant other, Ashley); her mother, Joan Fletcher (and husband, Claude); and many of her extended family members and friends.
Throughout her life, Carol put all of her love and energy into supporting others and advocating for the natural world.
Alongside her husband, Carol inspired and motivated her four sons to follow their dreams and become their best selves. She was a licensed New York State Wildlife Rehabilitator and a Certified Master Naturalist, using her passion and knowledge of nature to help wild and domesticated animals thrive.
With her big heart, and unyielding positive spirit, Carol taught all those around her to love and be loved.
For this, she will remain as a piece of the beating hearts of all those who knew her and as a living part of the natural world she cared so deeply about.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, help Carol's love and support of nature live on by donating to: Friends of the Feathered and Furry Wildlife Center Inc. at the address 10846 Route 23A Hunter, NY 12442 or the Warwick Humane Society at P.O. Box 61 Warwick, NY 10990.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at The Warwick Conference Center, Mulder Chapel, 62 Warwick Center Road, Warwick, from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16.
