Carol Ann Lefemine

Carol Ann Lefemine of Warwick passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016, at Schervier Pavilion. She was 64 years old.

Born on September 30, 1951 in Miami, Florida, she was the daughter of Donald and Helen (Paterson) Lefemine.

Carol Ann worked in Operations with Bloomberg Corporation in New York City.

She is survived by her two sons: Hans Staats and his wife Claire Burrows of Austin, Texas, and Aaron Staats of Middletown; her grandson Atticus Staats; her sisters Sandra Lefemine of Westtown, Blair Lefemine of Boston, Mass., and Lisa Lefemine of New York City; her nieces Megan Swados and Beryl Swados of New York City.

She was predeceased by a son, Leland Staats. She also leaves behind her beloved cats, Yoshi, Muggsey, Fabian and Venus.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Warwick Valley Humane Society, PO Box 61, Warwick, NY 10990.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home in Warwick.
