Bruce R. Blake

Bruce R. Blake, formerly of Mahwah, N.J., and Pine Island, passed away Monday, Jan. 19, 2015. He was 55.

He was born July 3, 1959, in Charlottesville, Virginia.

He is survived by his parents, Joan and Norman Blake of Mahwah, N.J.; his children: Sarahanne and her husband Brent Alexander of Nags Head, N.C., and Darrin Blake of Prescott, Arizona; his siblings Douglas and Derry Blake of Ramsey, N.J., Laura and Edwin Gangemi of Red Bank N.J., and Jennifer and Bo Woods of Prescott Valley, Arizona, along with several nieces and nephews.

Bruce enjoyed working with his hands, he was an accomplished electrician and musician. He also loved the outdoors and enjoyed many years with friends camping along the Delaware River.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A private ceremony was held on Jan. 24, 2015 in Ramsey, N.J. , through the Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernic Funeral Home.
