Bruce Edward Hallowell
Bruce Edward Hallowell of Warwick passed away suddenly on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015. He was 59 years old.
Born Aug. 18, 1956, in Teaneck, N. J., he was the son of Frank W. Hallowell and Carolyn A.( Koch) Hallowell.
Bruce was married to Barbara J. (McCabe) Hallowell.
His family's statement reads: “Bruce was known and loved by many. His love of life and adventure will never be forgotten. Always outside fixing and building things – that’s where you would find him.”
He is survived by his wife Barbara of Warwick; his children Kristy Lynn Hallowell and her husband Milton of Warwick, Patrick Hallowell and his wife Rachel of Warwick and Connor B. Hallowell (Tank) of Warwick; his grandchildren: Mason Mann, Zachary Mann, Gavin Hallowell,and Logan Hallowell. He is also survived by siblings: Burt J. Hallowell of Seattle, Washington, Mary Ellen Burritt and her husband John of New Hampshire, Christine A. Hallowell of Morris Plains, N.J., and Brian Hallowell and his wife Jean of Montvale, N.J.; his mother-in-law, Catherine McCabe; brother-in-law Matthew McCabe; sister-in-law Patricia Free and her husband Richard; sister-in-law Jean Oates and her husband Jimmy; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service were to be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 15, at the Mulder Chapel on Hoyt Road in Warwick.
Cremation will be private.
Funeral arrangements were made by Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home in Warwick.
