Blake Adam Emmerich

Blake Adam Emmerich of Bluffton, S.C., and formerly of Warwick, passed Wednesday, April 20, 2016, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. He was 67.
Mr. Emmerich was born on April 17, 1949, in Framingham, Mass., the son of Suzanne Blakely Emmerich and Leroy Emmerich.
He attended the University of Georgia and worked in technical ceramics with international sales at Zircar in the Village of Florida.
He was an outstanding athlete and a lifetime member of the Warwick Valley Country Club.
“Blake-O” enjoyed music and will be remembered as a talented guitarist.
Mr. Emmerich is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Jeffra Pinckney Emmerich; children Oak Emmerich, Teesha Heilig and Reid Emmerich; six grandchildren; and brothers, Scott, Kurt and Christopher Emmerich.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Kim Green.
His life will be celebrated at 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, at the Emmerich Tree Farm Pavilion in Warwick.
