Bing Nop

Bing Nop of Warwick went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Feb. 16, 2018, peacefully in his home. He was 76.
He was born on Jan. 13, 1942, in the Netherlands, the son of Walter Nop and Elizabeth Malda Nop.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed visiting with friends and relatives and loved being surrounded by his family.
He was a retired dairy farmer who took great pride in his farm.
Bing was an active member of the Goshen Christian Reformed Church where he served as an elder, deacon and school board member at the Goshen Christian School.
He always made an effort to visit the elderly and shut-ins.
His favorite hobbies (past times) were spending winters in Florida, traveling to Lancaster with his wife Betty and driving his John Deere Tractor.
Bing is survived by his wife of 52 years, Betty (Falkena); four daughters and their spouses: Charlene Hamill (Robert); Janene Arnold (Terrence); Jolene Larsen (Michael); and Lorene Robinson (Marc); eight grandchildren: Tyler, Trevor, Amanda, Jessica, Dean, Chambers, Rouen and Vallen; three brothers: Jerry Nop (Charlotte) of Plainview, Texas; Hank Nop (Alice) of Salisbury, Vermont, and Martin Nop (Marguerite) of Montgomery; sister Julie Wildshut (Randy) of Warwick; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Johannes Nop, and a brother-in-law and a sister-in-law Ralph and Florence Falkena.
A Celebration of Life was held Feb. 20 at the Goshen Christian Reformed Church.
