Barbara A. Couzzi

Barbara A. Couzzi of Warwick passed away Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at home. She was 66 years old.

Born Jan. 31, 1946, she was the youngest of nine children of Emmerson and Leoila M. (Simpson) Ferdon.

Barbara was the property manager of the Park Lane Apartments in Warwick and a member of the Warwick United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son Jason A. Couzzi and his wife Parisa of Waxhax, N.C.; a granddaughter, Shelby Couzzi of North Carolina; a sister, Shirley A. De Francico, of Warwick; many nieces and nephews; and her companion Russ Granger of Florida, N.Y.

She was predeceased by brothers and sisters: Sue Royce, Emmerson Ferdon Jr., Norma Youngman, Frances Vadala, Ethel Ferdon, Frank Ferdon and Katherine Ferdon.

Calling hours will be on Saturday, Nov. 24, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick, followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m.
