    Audrey Recca, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, formerly of Greenwood Lake, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017, in Stuart, Florida, near her adopted hometown of Jensen Beach, Florida, where she was a resident since 1964. She was 87.
    Audrey was born in Monroe, N.Y., on July 28, 1930, to Norman and Beatrice Decker. She graduated from Warwick High School in Warwick.
    She married the love of her life, Joseph Recca Sr., on Sept. 24, 1950.
    She was a paralegal and accountant for one of the largest law firms in Stuart, Florida, until her retirement.
    Audrey was an avid fan of the Miami Heat and her grandchildren loved talking basketball with her and were always amazed at her knowledge of Heat statistics.
    Audrey is survived by her loving husband Joseph and three children: Deborah (Michael) Olenick, Joseph Jr. (Elizabeth) and Johnny. She was blessed with grandchildren: Rob (Carrie) Fields, Ryan (Kristie) Fields, Yale Olenick, Crystal (Mike) Clark, Heather (Angel) Contreras, Audrey Andrews, Joshua (Rachel) Recca, Gina Traficante and Desiree Salerno; and 16 great grand-children.
    Audrey is preceded in death by her parents; sister; Doris Slockbower; and three brothers: Norman, Eugene, and George.
    A private service will be held on Nov. 20, at All Saints Cemetery in Jensen Beach, Florida.

    Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Martin Funeral Home and Crematory in Stuart,Florida.
