Arlene Bel Zak

Arlene Bel Zak of Florida, N.Y., entered into rest on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, at Orange Regional Medical Center in the town of Wallkill. She was 64.

The daughter of Jerry Simcik and Corinne Johnson Simcik, she was born Oct. 9, 1948, in Manhattan.

The family would like to thank all of the staff at Elant and ORMC as well as her close friends and family that helped her during her illness.

She is survived by her brother Jerry R. Simcik and nephew Christopher Simcik of Florida, N.Y.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 6, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Ave., Florida.

A funeral service will follow at 6:30 p.m. in the funeral home.

Burial will be held privately in the Florida Cemetery.
