Anne M. Van Cook of Warwick passed away on Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017 at Schervier Pavilion. She was 91 years old.
Born on Aug. 15, 1926, in the Bronx, she was the daughter of Nicholas and Jennie (Alberti) Mogavero.
She was the widow Eugene Walter Van Cook (1997).
Before retiring, Anne was an insurance company administrator with the Children’s Aid Society in New York City. She was then a crossing guard for the New York City Police Department.
Anne enjoyed her family and friends, traveling, food and playing cards.
She is survived by her children: Douglas Van Cook and his wife Cathy of Warwick and Janet Cummings and her husband Ralph of Mission Viejo, California; her grandchildren: Kimberly Kern and her husband Jason of Montvale, N.J., Pamela Vidh and her husband Matthias of Sollentuna, Sweden, Joseph Sparacio and his wife Jennaya of Las Flores, California, and Daniel Sparacio and his wife Shannon of San Diego, California; six great-grandchildren: Amanda, Alexander, Emily, Tobias, Delaney and Michael.
Funeral services were held Aug. 21 at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home in Warwick.
Interment took place in Warwick Cemetery.
