Alice Shadoian
Alice Shadoian of Wurtsboro, formerly of Warwick, Goshen and Middletown as well as Paramus, N.J., passed away on Jan. 4, 2018. She was 93 years old.
Alice was born in New York City on Aug. 2, 1924, to George Bauer and Anna Ott.
She was the widow Vahan Shadoian (1992).
Alice was a former librarian in Paramus as well as a lifelong member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW of New Jersey.
She volunteered for the Office of the Aging in Goshen and was a former Girl Scout leader.
Surviving Alice are her daughters, Roseann Sharpe and husband J. Scott of Sebring, Fla., and Susann Steward and husband Shane of Wurtsboro; four grandchildren: Dorothy, Samantha, Shane and Darren; two great-grandchildren: Kenneth and Logan; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother, George Bauer, and two sisters, Katherine Pomerance and Dorothy Engelmann.
Private cremation.
