Nick DeBlanco joins the Navy

Nick DeBlanco, a graduate of Warwick Valley High School and lifetime resident of Warwick, has begun his career with the U.S. Navy. He was sworn in at the Military Entrance Processing Station in Albany on Jan. 23. He has now begun his three-month boot camp at the U.S. Naval Station Great Lakes in North Chicago, Ill. After graduation, he will most likely stay there for an additional three months as he then begins his specialized Navy specialized training. He follows his older brother, Wesley, a Navy veteran of more than four years, in his military career. Wesley also is a Warwick Valley High School graduate and lifelong residents of Warwick.
