Here’s the latest information to reach The Photo News newsroom regarding the academic successes of local residents: • Amanda Martini of Monroe, a junior at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pa., has been named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for excellence in the classroom and on the track. To be named to the Academic Honor Roll, a student must be a sophomore or higher in class standing; a starter or key reserve on her team; and carry at least a 3.40 cumulative grade-point average. An economics major, Martini was a member of the 4 x 200 meter relay team that placed fourth at the indoor Centennial Conference Championship meet. She also competed in the 55-meter and the 200-meter dashes. The women’s team finished fifth at the Centennial Conference meet. • Christie Canzona of Monroe has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2007 semester at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, N.J. • John R. Canzona of Monroe was named to the dean’s list for the 2007 fall semester at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Fla. His major is music entertainment, production and touring. Broadhead of Monroe is a member of the Class of 2011 and is majoring in business administration. • Al J. Esposito of Monroe is a member of the Class of 2008 and is majoring in information technology. • Brian A. Kennedy of Monroe is a member of the Class of 2009 and is majoring in business administration with an emphasis on finance. • Marissa J.
