New Eagle Scouts named to Troop 63
GOSHEN John Fasano of Goshen and Karl McBride of Campbell Hall of Troop 63 in Goshen were recently awarded the rank of eagle scout by the Hudson Valley Council’s Heritage District Eagle Board. Fasano is the son of Frank and Virginia Fasano and a Goshen High School senior. His eagle project consisted of the renovation and painting of St James Hall in Goshen. McBride is the son of Terry and Nancy McBride and is also a Goshen High School senior. His eagle project consisted of clearing the brush, repairing, and straightening some of the gravestones at the Slate Hill Cemetery in Goshen. Both scouts will receive their eagle badges, along with several other recent Eagle Scouts from Troop 63, at a formal Court of Honor in May. Fasano and McBride are Troop 63’s 87 and 88 Eagle scouts. Troop 63 is sponsored by St James Episcopal Church and is currently accepting new scouts, who are young men age 11 to 17. For further information, call 294-0924.
