Monroe resident named promotional coordinator at Mt. St. Mary College

Monroe n Mount Saint Mary College has appointed Kerin Reilly of Monroe as promotional coordinator for continuing education. Reilly is responsible for marketing the college’s undergraduate continuing education programs to businesses and nonprofits. She also is the coordinator of the Mount’s satellite program at West Point Army Education Center. Reilly has served the Mount in various capacities since 2003, including as an internship coordinator for the Co-op and Internship Office and a research associate. She worked on a year-long collaborative study conducted by the Mount’s psychology department and SUNY New Paltz titled “Not All Youth Jobs Are Created Equal: Variations in Content and Quality.” She presented the study at the Association of Psychological Science national convention in 2006. Reilly received a bachelor’s in psychology with a minor in sociology from the Mount in 2004. She has volunteered at Head Start and North Main Elementary School in Monroe. The Mount’s Office of Continuing Education offers accelerated degree programs with six-week courses, non-credit courses for personal enrichment and professional development courses.
