Malabar Man inducted into Harness Hall of Fame

GOSHEN Standardbred horse “Malabar Man,” the $2 million winner, was recently inducted into ihe Harness Racing Hall of Fame in Goshen, only the second time a horse honoree has been present for the induction ceremony. The first was “Niatross,” who received his honor in 1997. “Malabar Man,” who was bred, owned and driven by amateur harness racing driver Mal Burroughs, is the winner of many of the world’s premier trotting races including the Hambletonian Stake, the World Trotting Derby, the Bluegrass Stake and Italy’s Orsi Mangelli.
