M-W grad leads musical theater workshop

Monroe — Erica L. Rubinsky of Monroe is now president of the Musical Theater Union at Clark University. In its fifth year at Clark, the union presents musical workshops and performs for the campus community and general public. The group recently staged the revue “Seasons of Love,” and is preparing a major production for spring. Rubinsky, a senior with a major in music with a minor in theater arts, is also in the Clark Sinfonia and Chamber Ensembles, and is a Presidential Scholarship recipient. She performed on cello for the junior and senior recital on Saturday, Nov. 12, at Clark’s Traina Center for the Arts. The daughter of Steven and Doris Rubinsky of Monroe, she graduated from Monroe-Woodbury High School in 2002.
