LeylandAlliance recruits new executives

Tuxedo —LeylandAlliance, the noted New Urbanist real estate development firm, announced today that Michael C. Wadsworth, James Titolo and Lisa J. Scorzelli have joined the company in key positions. LeylandAlliance is a developer of mixed-use and residential communities throughout the East Coast. These communities reflect Leyland’s commitment to honoring tradition and classical architecture, while pursuing innovation in environmentally friendly planning and building technologies. Michael C. Wadsworth has been hired as vice president of Finance. He comes to Leyland from K. Hovnanian Homes where he was the metro New York area controller. His responsibilities as vice president of Finance will include preparation of all financial reporting for LeylandAlliance. This role combines management of all aspects of the accounting operations for the company, as well as providing financial modeling and forecasting to Senior Management. James Titolo joins Leyland as vice president of Construction. Prior to Leyland Alliance, Titolo was the director of Construction at Morgan Construction Enterprises and has been in the construction business for over 25 years. He holds a master's degree in Real Estate and Development from New York University and an M.B.A. from Long Island University. He will direct and monitor construction activities on Leyland projects with an initial focus on Warwick Grove, a new Traditional Neighborhood development. Lisa J. Scorzelli has come on board as accounting manager. She was the director of Finance for The Carteret Group, a real estate developer in Rockland and Orange counties for the past 9 years. As accounting manager, she will be responsible for overseeing accounts payable, bookkeeping, and payroll as well as supporting the vice president of Finance.
