Harriman congregation welcomes new pastor
Harriman The Rev. Emily B. Hall has been appointed as the new pastor of the Harriman United Methodist Church.Hall is an elder in the United Methodist Church, as well as the pastor of the Central Valley United Methodist Church. Hall is involved in holistic Christian healing and is trained in both Integrated Energy Therapy and Gestalt Pastoral Care. She finds solice in experiencing different types of prayer, and walking labyrinths. She also studies the Christian mystics and what they have to say to the world that we live in today. On a more personal level, Hall spends what free time she has hiking, kayaking, reading, playing with her dogs, and the journey to the unknown. The public is invited to join with the congregation on Saturday, June 2, at 5 p.m. for a contemporary Family Celebration and at 11 a.m. on Sunday mornings for a traditional worship celebration of God’s word in our world today Harriman United Methodist Church is located at 13 Church St. in Harriman, on the corner of James Street.
