Harness Racing Hall of Fame inducts class of 2011

    GOSHEN — The leading money-earning pacer Gallo Blue Chip and the president of Hanover Shoe Farm are among the inductees into the Harness Racing Hall of Fame in Goshen. Racing judge Walter Russell also was inducted Sunday, along with Jim Simpson, who runs the Hanover stallion farm. Other horses who were inducted were the pacing mare Eternal Camnation and broodmares JC’s Nathalie, Artistic Vision and Tsunami Hanover. Gallo Blue Chip earned $4.2 million over a 6-year racing career that ended in 2005. Eternal Camnation earned $3.7 million, the most by a pacing mare.
