Goshen High graduate advances to Eagle Scout

Vincent Malonso, a 2007 graduate of Goshen High School, was awarded the coveted rank of Eagle Scout on Aug. 2. Malonso is a member of Goshen Troop 63, which is sponsored by St. James Episcopal Church and he is their 86th Eagle Scout. Malonso’s project included the renovation and repair of the handicap entrance ramp at St. James as well as the removal of the ceiling in St James Hall, which is currently under major renovation. His project took over 200 man-hours to complete. Vincent will be attending SUNY Orange during the fall and hopes to pursue a pre-med program.
