Five members of county 'Team Orange' recognized

Goshen — At a meeting of the Orange County Legislature, Orange County Executive Edward A. Diana and Michael R. Pillmeier, chairman of the legislature, recognized five members of “Team Orange” for 25 or more years of service to Orange County Government. Each of the employees received a service pin and certificate that were presented before the full legislature. The following employees were recognized: Terri Tragis, of Newburgh, has worked for the Office of the County Clerk for 25 years. She currently works at the Department of Motor Vehicles’ Newburgh location. Mary R. Long, of Phillipsport, received a service pin for her 25 years with the Orange County Clerk’s office. Sheri Hentschel, of Washingtonville, celebrated 25 years with Orange County Government. She has been a member of the County Executive’s Office for 17 years. Orange County Clerk Donna Benson of Florida, was recognized for 30 years of dedicated service to the County of Orange. She began her career with Orange County Government working in the Department of Motor Vehicles. Commissioner of Mental Health Chris Ashman, of Goshen, received his 30 year service pin. He has served as commissioner since 1991.
