First Holy Communion celebrated at Holy Rosary Church

Nineteen children received their First Communion on Saturday, April 28, at Holy Rosary Church in Greenwood Lake. The children prepared for the sacrament under the direction of their catechists Nina Pinglora and Judi Rodriguez. Beginning in the first row, from left to right, are: Liliana Surun, Grace Velez, Briana Rose, Ella McCormack, Emma Dwyer, Erin Persico, Quinn Westphal, Peyton Oser, Danica Eisenring and Alexis Haindl; and in the second row from left are: Joseph Kerr, Kellan Brennan, Carmine Scotto, Chase Mallia, Aiden Morrow, Evin Hernandez, Nicholas Fox, Luis Barajas Morales and Anthony Calandra. Standing in the back row with the Rev. Jamie Bono are altar servers Carlo Scotto and Mary Calandra.
