Dr. Alex Joanow appointed to national women's health care group

Goshen - Dr. Alex M. Joanow, a member of the Horizon Family Medical Group in Goshen, has been appointed to the membership and promotion committee of the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists. According to a press release from Joanow’s office, the organization is dedicated to excellence in women’s health care. The college traces its origins to 1934; it has more than 1,300 members today. Joanow will be one of eight committee members whose responsibilities are to develop methods and standards to promote new memberships to the group. Horizon Family Medical has 12 offices in the Orange County, including one at 30 Hatfield Lane in Goshen. The office number is 291-7400.
