Diane Lee receives scholarship

Chester Diane Lee, a student at Chester Academ, has been named a Henry Wells Scholar at Wells College. She was nominated by a guidance counselor or Wells alumna, for attaining a 90 percent cumulative GPA and a 1150 or higher in the SATs. Wells Scholars are awarded $3,000 to fund an experiential learning opportunity while studying at the college. During the freshman year, they receive hands-on experience in a work setting that matches their academic interests. The paid experience takes place during the junior or senior year, and can be an internship, research project with a professor, or off-campus study. Wells College is a private college located in Aurora, N.Y., on the eastern shore of Cayuga Lake.
