    Graduations Peter Camillone of Warwick was one of 263 students recently honored by the State University of New York College at Oneonta for completion of their requirements for graduation in the fall 2009 semester in ceremonies on Dec. 6. Camillone earned a bachelor of science degree in biology. John Schamarek, the son of John Schamarek of Warwick, graduated with a bachelor of science degree from Ithaca College’s School of Health Sciences and Human Performance. The degree was awarded in December. The following students graduated from the University at Albany during winter commencement ceremonies held on Dec. 6: Shane Meduski of Florida graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science in business administration. Stephanie Fox of Warwick graduated with a bachelor of science in business administration. Brianne Hoppe of Warwick graduated with a master of business administration in mental health counseling (MS). The following students graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh this winter: Shane Patrick Franklin of Warwick, bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Adam Algot Emmerich of Warwick, bachelor’s degree in environmental studies. Dean’s list Suzanne A. Adler of Warwick, a member of the class of 2013, has been named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at Stonehill College in Easton, Mass. To qualify, a student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better for the semester. Ashley Steiginga of Warwick, a 2007 graduate of Hawthorne Christian Academy, has been named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at Grove City College in Grove City, Pa. She is majoring in biology and is the daughter of Cindy and David Steiginga of Warwick. To qualify for the honor, students must earn a grade point average between 3.4 and 3.59 for the semester. Louis Z. Cantelmo of Warwick has been named to the dean’s list at the Lubin School of Business at Pace University. A 2007 graduate of Warwick Valley High School, he is the son of Lou and Celia Cantelmo of Warwick. Thomas Bruder, who graduated Warwick Valley High School in June 2009, has been named to the dean’s list of West Virginia State University for academic excellence for the fall semester 2009 with a GPA of 3.5. He is majoring in business administration with a minor in sports management. He is the son of William Bruder and stepmother Donna. He has two brothers who reside in Warwick as well as his grandmother Joan. Lindsay Theodore of Sugar Loaf has been named to the fall 2009 dean’s list at Cornell University. To be selected for this honor, a student must earn at least a grade point average of 3.50 on a 4.0 scale with a minimum course load of 12 letter-graded credits. Lindsay, a 2009 graduate of Warwick Valley High School, is majoring in biological sciences with a concentration in biochemistry. She is the daughter of Cynthia and Nicholas Theodore of Sugar Loaf. Eliese Dykstra of Warwick has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2009 semester at the University of Vermont in Burlington. Dykstra is a senior wildlife and fisheries biology major in the Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources. To be named to the dean’s lists, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school. The following students were named to the dean’s list at Endicott Collge in Beverly, Mass., for the fall 2009 semester: Kara Bonelli, a freshman majoring in English. She is the daughter of Barbara Bonelli of Warwick. Kyra Leigh-Jean Frosini, a sophomore majoring in psychology. She is the daughter of Greg and Alicia Frosini of Sugar Loaf. To quality, students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or better for the semester. Gina Conti, a resident of Florida, N.Y. ,was among 111 students from the State University of New York College at Oneonta who earned Provost’s List honors for the Fall 2009 semester. To qualify for the Provost’s List, undergraduate students must earn a perfect grade point average of 4.0 while carrying a course load of 12 semester hours or more. The following students earned positions on the dean’s list at St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill for the fall 2009 semester: Erica Volpe, Warwick. Crisanne Wilken, Warwick. To qualify, students must achieve a GPA of 3.5 or better for the semester. The daughter of Donna and James Moran, she is a junior whose major is nursing. At Hartwick, she has participated in the honors program and Women’s Varsity Volleyball. She is a graduate of Warwick Valley High School. Carly Ramos of Warwick. The daughter of Anne and Wilbert Ramos, she is a sophomore whose major is nursing. She is a graduate of Warwick Valley High School. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must achieve a GPA of 3.5 or better for the semester.
