    Graduations Cristina Garro of Warwick received a bachelor of science degree in accounting during the commencement ceremony at Widener University in Chester, Pa., during commencement ceremonies in May. Amy Elizabeth Walsh of the Village of Florida graduated from the State University of New York College of Technology at Delhi, receiving a BBA degree in travel and tourism management. Walsh also was cited for academic achievement for the spring semester by qualifying for the high honors list. To qualify, a student must have an academic average of at least 3.75. Bradleigh L. Windsor, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Windsor of Monroe, received a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering at the 140th commencement exercises at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) on May 17 in Worchester, Mass. Dean’s list Rebecca Christine Mutz, a 2006 graduate of Warwick Valley High School, has been named to the Flagler College president’s list for the 2007 - 2008 school year for achieving a 4.0 average for both the fall and spring semesters. Flagler College is located in St. Augustine, Fla. Mutz has recently completed her sophomore year and is working to obtain a bachelor of fine arts degree. She is the daughter and step-daughter of Elizabeth and Gary Obenauer of Warwick. James E. Gilson of Greenwood Lake has been named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Virginia Tech in Blackburg, Va. To qualify, a student must earn a GPA of 3.4 or better. Gilson is a junior majoring in finance in the Pamplin College of Business. Jessica Sicina of the Village of Florida was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2008 semester at Widener University in Chester, Pa. The dean’s list recognizes full-time students who earned a grade point average of 3.50 or better for the semester. Stephen D. Garby of Warwick was named to the spring dean’s list at Lebanon Valley College in Annville, Pa. Garby is a sophomore studying elementary education. Dean’s list students must maintain a grade point average of 3.4 or above on a 4-point scale. Meghan Oretsky of the Village of Florida was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2007 semester at the University of Vermont in Burlington. Oretsky’s major is English. To qualify, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school. The following University at Albany-SUNY students were named to the spring 2008 dean’s list for their outstanding academic achievements: Brianne Hoppe of Warwick. Krista Cameron of the Village of Florida. Emily Lamontagne of Warwick. Lauren Potavin of Warwick. Andrew Nicolella of Warwick. Shane Meduski of Florida. Kathryn Gulfo of Warwick. Kara Arnowitz of Warwick. Anne Weslowski of Warwick. Claire Folino of Pine Island. Anna Singer of Warwick. Admissions Tara Lynn Kelly, daughter of Joseph and Kathleen Kelly of Warwick, has been accepted into the Siena College/Albany Medical College Program. A 2008 graduate of Warwick Valley High School, Kelly is one of 12 students selected out of 350 to attend this prestigious eight-year medical school program. Kelly also received the Siena College/Albany Medical College Scholarship in Science, Humanities and Medicine. Vladimir E. Colas of Warwick has reserved a place as a transfer student at SUNY Oswego. Fall classes will begin Aug. 27. He last studied at SUNY College of Agriculture and Technology at Cobleskill.
