    Captain's Table in Monroe raises $1,000 for Wounded Warriors

MONROE — Captain’s Table owner Ray Hafenecker presented at $1,000 check to American Legion Post 488 on Wednesday, the proceeds from the restaurant’s Sept. 11 fund raiser to support the Wounded Warriors organization. Post 488 will use the funds to support Wounded Warrior efforts at West Point. The funds will be earmarked for recreational activities for wounded veterans and include trips to New York City, special meals and nights out.
