Airman Petrick graduates with F-100 jet engine training

Chester — Air Force Airman William D. Petrick has graduated from the Aerospace Propulsion Apprentice (F-100 jet engine) Course at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was trained to troubleshoot, repair, inspect, remove, install, rig and mount jet engines, gearboxes, accessories and support equipment. Ground safety practices and the use of ground support equipment were integrated into the course. The training included maintenance documentation and publications, technical order system, base supply and flightline procedures, and man-hour accounting as applicable to engine maintenance and related accessory systems. Upon completion of technical school at Sheppard, he will be stationed at Nellis Air force Base, Las Vegas, Nevada. He is the son of Bill Petrick and Kathleen Sutter of Oakland Avenue in Chester. He is a 2010 Chester Academy graduate.
