A century of prayers

The Pine Island Bible Church, pictured here in a photograph from 1928 and again more recently, will celebrate its 100th anniversary Labor Day weekend and needs the help of its neighbors. The church wants to compose a picture time line and needs photos of previous pastors and special events. The church is located at 9 Little Brooklyn Road and was previously named St. Paul’s Bible Church and St. Paul’s Congregational Church. Previous pastors were named: Schaff, Grobe, Heirholtz, Meyer, Muller, Schneider, Otto, Schwartz, Dodzuweit, Heberling, VanderGroef, Rasmussen and Mueller.
