Warwick. Johnny Solari, Warwick’s Golf MVP, signs National Letter of Intent to strike the ball for Adelphi University

Warwick Athletics is proud announce senior student–athlete Johnny Solari has signed a National Letter of Intent to continue his education and play golf for Adelphi University in Garden City on Long Island.

Solari was voted Warwick Valley Golf MVP and finished top three n the Section IX 2020 Golf Championships.

The 2021 team captain will play for the Panthers who compete in the Northeast 10 (NE10) of the NCAA Division II.

Solari is the son of Marco and Heather Solari of Warwick. He is a six- year varsity golfer and the recipient of the Dick Lombardi Memorial Golf Award.

He is an Honor Roll student and has earned NYSPHSAA Scholar-Athlete status, maintaining a 90 or better average during his season.

Solari chose Adelphi University over Eckerd College, University of Scranton and Utica College and will major in business.

Adelphi University has met nearly 50 percent of the estimated $60,000 year tuition room and board to attend through athletic and merit scholarship.

Keep an eye on Johnny Solari and his teammates this spring as they look to capture the 2022 Section IX Golf Title.
