Youth free throw championship

MONROE — The Monroe Knights of Columbus will host the local level competition for the 2008 Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship, for children age 10 to 14, Sunday, Jan. 13 at the Sacred Heart School Gymnasium. Walk-in registration runs from 1 to 2 p.m., with competition beginning at 2 p.m. Participants should provide proof of age and written parental consent on the entry form. All participants must be present while their age category is shooting. Winners will receive a patch and engraved plaque, and progress through district and state competition.
