Yard sale to benefit pantry

Chester — The annual Chester spring yard sale will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, at the First Presbyterian Church on Main St. in the village. The sale’s sponsors — the church and the Kiwanis Club of Chester — say a variety of household items will be for sale, including great bargains and hidden treasures. Food and refreshments will also be available. The proceeds will benefit community service projects and the church’s food pantry. For more information or to make a donation, call Richard at 469-7317.
