Woodstock Fest at Palaia celebrates concert's 42nd anniversary

    Highland Mills — Get your tie dye out. Tonight, Aug. 12, is the start of a three-day music festival at Palaia Vineyard and Winery in Highland Mills celebrating the music of the Woodstock generation. The weekend will kick off tonight outside under the tent from 6:30-9:30 p.m. with Henderson and Osinski. There is no cover charge. Chips and popcorn will be available free outside with regular meals for purchase inside. Tomorrow, Aug. 13, the festival will begin at 3 p.m. with a $5 cover charge. Vendors will be on hand to provide henna tattoos, jewelry and handcrafted wreaths of flowers for your hair. There will be food provided by Little Italy and music by Rob Schiff from 3-6 p.m. At 6:30 p.m., the band Back to the Garden will lead you in musical time travel to 1969. Wear your hippie clothes and bring a chair or blanket. On Sunday, Aug. 14, the Redden Brothers will perform outside from 2:30-5:30 p.m. There is no cover charge. Bring your own picnic or buy food inside. Peace out.
