A demonstration of the art of spinning by Susan Logothetis will be hosted by the Albert Wisner Public Library on Thursday, March 15, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., in honor of Women's History Month. Hand-spinning thread and yarn for household use was an essential skill for every woman in colonial days. A new exhibit, "Women's Work" will also be on display in the Wisner Local History Room of the library. No registration necessary; open to teens and adult.
