WOMA to host ‘Getting To Know You' potluck

Monroe — WOMA, Women of the Monroe Area, will hold its next monthly meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7, at the American Legion Hall Post 488 on Lakes Road in Monroe. The event is their annual “Getting to Know You” night with a potluck dinner. Interested women are invited to bring a dish to share and meet new friends, or get to know a little more about our members. WOMA is a non-profit social and civic organization open to women of all ages from all the surrounding communities who want to form new friendships, become aware of what the community has to offer, and work to better the area in which we live. The club accomplishes this through monthly meetings which feature local speakers, or ladies night out, couples night out, recipe tasters, children’s programs and various fundraising events.
