Winery will introduce newly distilled local gin at Aug. 12 benefit for Orange County Land Trust

Warwick - The Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery will hold a cocktail reception on Friday, Aug. 12, from 6 to 9 p.m. to celebrate the release of its newly distilled local gin. Proceeds from the evening will benefit Orange County Land Trust and the protection of Orange County’s natural areas and working farms. The evening includes cocktails on the winery’s new outdoor patio complete with a gin bar offering three different gin drinks and wine selections from the wine bar in the rustic tasting room. Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery’s award-winning hard ciders will also be offered as well as non-alcoholic beverages. An array of hors d’oeuvres from onsite Pane Café and other local restaurants - Landmark Inn, Crystal Inn, El Taco Hombre and Grappa Ristorante - will be served. Live music will be performed by E’lissa Jones. For those interested, the evening also includes a guided tour of the distillery and short talk on the distilling process. Bottles of Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery’s locally produced gin will be available for purchase with 10 percent of the proceeds benefiting Orange County Land Trust.
