Wind ensemble offers concert

Washingtonville — A Wind Ensemble Concert will be presented by the Orange County Music Educators’ Wind Ensemble at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 18, at the Washingtonville High School auditorium at 52 West Main St. The program will include: Verdi and Rogers’ “Overture to La Forza del Destino,” Persichetti “Psalm for Band, ” Gorb’s “Yiddish Dances,” Prokofiev’s “March, Op. 99,” and Gillingham’s “With Heart and Voice.” The ensemble will be conducted by Dr. James McRoy, from C. W. Post, Long Island University. Richard Regan is the artistic director, and Donald Franklin the executive director. Admission is $8.
