WARWICK — The Warwick Ecumenical Food Pantry will present the Hudson Valley Piano Trio, performing works by Schubert and Piazzolla, on Saturday, June 24, from 6 to 7 p.m., at the Warwick Reformed Church, 16 Maple Ave.
The concert is a fund raiser for the food pantry with admission being a free will offering by cash or check, all of which will be donated to the pantry.
The Hudson Valley Piano Trio is Warwick residents Jeanne Fox (cello) and Tara Goozée (violin), founding members of the Hudson Valley String Quartet, who have teamed up with international concert pianist Eun Ha Chung of West Point.
These three performers share a strong interest in using art to support important organizations within their communities.
The Warwick Ecumenical Food Pantry, located at the Warwick United Methodist Church, has been in operation for more than 30 years.
The pantry serves, on average, approximately 200 families each month, representing a total of nearly 650 people per month.
The pantry does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religious beliefs, age, handicaps, gender or sexual orientation, nor does it require participation in religious services or religious training.
