Cornwall-on-Hudson — The Museum of the Hudson Highlands presents, “Wildlife in Winter!” on Saturday, Jan. 27, at 10 a.m. Come take a close look at how the opossum, gray squirrel and beaver (our state mammal) adapt to survive the harsh winter weather at the Museum’s Boulevard location, Cornwall-on-Hudson. Learn how the local wildlife deals with winter. Some have gone into hibernation and some have migrated, but what about the ones that remain active all year in the Hudson Valley? We will finish the program with a short hike in the woods to look for animal signs. Dress accordingly. Recommended for children ages 5 and up. Cost $5; members $3.
