Why Darwin still matters

Warren Allmon, Ph.D., will deliver a lecture with Powerpoint entitled “Why Darwin Still Matters” on Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 7:30 p.m. in Harriman Lecture Hall 111, on the SUNY Orange Middletown campus. Allmon is the director of the Museum of the Earth in Ithaca, where a celebration of Darwin Ithaca’s Darwin Days will go on the week of Darwin’s birthday which is Feb. 12. During the lecture presentation with Q&A, Allmon will discuss Darwin’s revolutionary theory of natural selection, and its influence since 1859.
